Madeira, Winter 2024

I made two trips to Madeira in late 2024: during October and December. Late in the year, Madeira remains vibrant, and I find that this time of year is the best to visit due to the reduced number of tourists (an issue flaring on Madeira, as overtourism crumples the limited facilities of the island, fuelled by the self-interest of Madeira’s corrupt political climate).
