I’m Sebastian, a UK-based nature photographer with a focus on landscape, mountain, and natural-light photography.
My interest in photography began while I was studying Astrophysics in Edinburgh, after an impulsive decision to buy my first DSLR. What started as trial and error gradually became something more serious: a reason to chase light across hills, coastlines, and mountains, and an excuse to spend far too many nights wild camping in the Scottish Highlands.
Over the years, photography has become closely tied to the journeys themselves. I’m drawn to fleeting conditions, remote places, and the quiet moments that appear briefly before the light changes. Much of my work is landscape-focused, but I also enjoy natural photography more broadly, including macro, astro, wildlife, and details found along the way.
I still value spontaneity: being out in the right place, watching the weather shift, and responding to what the landscape offers. At the same time, I’ve become more selective about what I process and share. After many thousands of shutter actuations, each finished image has to earn its place.
This portfolio is a collection of those moments: photographs made through a genuine love of natural beauty, wild places, and the experience of being there.
Prints are not available yet, but they are something I hope to offer in future.
