Levenhall Links

Four of my five years living in Scotland was spent in Musselburgh, near the Levenhall Links / Bird Reserve. A phenomenal place for photography, all my Stars & Space photographs were taken here. I had the opportunity to site a bird feeder in the forest, which gave ample opportunity for my favorite bird photograph (a Lesser Redpoll.) The sea wall was especially good for shooting waders from, in addition to the pond, which has a mated pair of swans and a rather photogenic heron who regularly visited.
