Cairngorms National Park, Winter 2023

The last trip I took with my father before his suicide, in March 2023 I once again visited the Cairngorms, looking to repeat some images I’d taken the Autumn prior that I thought would look good in the snow. The focus included the small hills behind Aviemore to the north-west, but I was lucky enough to also capture Loch Garten frozen over, and indulged in some snowy forest photography while the chance was there.
