I’d been suffering with health issues but could not resist the chance for a short break to try to get some photographs for next years Christmas Cards (I’d shared out most of my archive with my colleagues at this point- keeping things original for the next year was important to get their praise!) – Scotland gave me the right conditions and I took them up in the Coulin Pass, something that (on paper) seemed safe and easy enough to do.
